fact of the matter is drifting isnt a race and never will be a race, as i said befor its all about car control. if the FIA accepted drifting as an "official motorsport" they would ruin it completely, like it has been ruined in america. over there its no longer about a man and his car, its all big names trying to make money. case in point falken they have what? 4-5 cars? no longer in america can a driver become a pro drifter using his every day car, thats he's built with his own hands using his own money that he's worked so hard for. instead companies mass produce the cars for the drivers, it sickens me it really does! DRIFTING HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT INDEPENDENT DRIVERS IN THEIR OWN CARS THAT THEY'VE WORKED SO HARD TO BUY AND TUNE UP PUT ALL THEIR TIME AND EFFORT INTO TO GET IT PERFECT. ..!. american drifting and ..!. the FIA

a while ago i start racing on redline 2 server i started off lapping about 1:16, i got down to being able to lap constantly at 1:02! i see people on that server lap one minute dead, and they do it because they practice. they are comfortable with the car and set up, they know where the limit is and push a little bit beyond it.
YOU HAVE TO PRACTICE you cant just expect to start racing a car and be the best from the off go

driver B was clearly out of shape going into those turns Driver A took full advantage ofit got the inside line and was as far as i can tell from the video INFRONT, driver B closed the door or in my opinion tried slamming driver A against the wall
drifting isnt really racing, its more about control and style not about who crosses the line first. and as for the fia ,,|, to them! it is a sport!

i actually went to silverstone to see the EDC was good they used the final part of the track befor the start finish straight those few turns looked like they was made with drifting in mind. you tube it "EDC 2007 ROUND 2" or look for user "EDCTV"

i heard that the car is irish or was designed in ireland something like that anyway which would explain why its rubbish its a good looking car but the only value it really holds is because its from back to the future. and i think im correct in saying that most delorean's on the road today are "work in progress" for their owners to get them to look exactly like the one in the movies, which is rather pathetic in my opinion

hardcore LFS racer tis ok i suppose to have that kind of setup if you have money to burn or in most peoples cases on lfs are 16 or under and nag your parents till they give in. myself im happy with my SINGLE 17" and my cheap wheel from pc world
vf1-xj220 i think the only way LFS could add more real cars or gain rights to model real cars would be television advertising it would make the whole process alot easier for them to gain rights to do so. but im happy with hybrids as im sure everyone else is or they simply wouldnt play

fact is if you want S2 then buy it dont ask for free license's your just not going to get one. ive been playing LFS for almost a year now and made the mistake of giving an unlock to a friend who ALWAYS used to play leaving me stuck on single player mode in the end i had to change my game password cos he would leave it online all day and all night, nobody wants the annoyance of going to play online and finding out they cant because somebody else using their license is already on. YOU WANT IT YOU BUY IT!

make and download cars for LFS? you mean like as you do in Racer? i suppose it could be done, but then you will have the problem of racing against people in cars that you havent downloaded and will not be able to see them because of this. when i had racer i downloaded every car and track i could get my hands on and the game file itself ended up from being about 60mb to around 800mb. car files will not be small. not only this but these forums would become a warzone of threads complaining about inaccurate moddeling and physics of the cars. its a nice idea but i dont think its really practical
